"I think as a venue for a wedding and a reception it is not desirable for guests. Everything took FOREVER to change over. I would think twice before RSVPing to another wedding that is help here."

"Excellent batter dipped fish sand on a fresh bun, best in the area imho. 😋 Cole slaw fresh & good too. When I mentioned that I hadnt ever been in the Elks, even though I had lived in the area for 20 years, I was offered a tour by the most gracious Elks Secretary. Very hospitable. I'm considering becoming a member. First thing I'd do though as a member is to work to reverse the members only eat-in policy. It makes no sense to not relax the policy for a few weeks during Lent, especially in an era where fraternal organizations struggle to bring in new members. The dining hall is beautiful, but empty - by choice? Besides not making business sense, it sends a terribly inhospitable message to the community it purports to serve and engage with, a message which is completely at odds with the warm welcome I received from everyone there during my first visit."

"This used to be my favorite fish fry of all the ones I've frequented in the area and I've gone there for the last 5 years. Last Friday my aunt and I were informed at the door we couldn't eat in the hall because we weren't members and could only have take out! This is the Elks' new policy. We wanted to sit down and have a fish dinner! NOT eat in my car or drag the food home!! I am p****d off to say the least! The parking lot was 2/3 full and in the past you couldn't find a parking spot, so this says a lot about how popular this stupid decision is on the Elks' part. The Elks just lost a faithful customer and I'm quite sure I'm not alone."

"Went for a paint night and it was so much fun! Also was there for a wedding, and they did an amazing job. Their wedding planner and staff worked wonders on that whole building to create the theme, mood, and setting for the couple's big day! Highly recommend!"

"The Elks Lodge is more than a private place for members to drink and socialize. If you really invest your time here volunteering and giving back to the community programs they support, it really feels great helping those less fortunate and those just seeking some happiness in their day. The private bar and events is just a minor perk of a greater organization that truly does care about the community. Come to some of the open house events like spaghetti dinners and 3rd Sunday breakfast. Check them out."
